Golf Instruction Videos
One thing is for sure golf instruction videos are easier to follow than diagrams and text, not only can you try and copy/emulate what the golf instruction video is about, you can also stop and pause the golf video instruction while you take it all in?
In these golf instruction videos, I have tried to put them together so that all golfers of all standards can grasp the instructions and techniques, starting with a golf grip video instruction ending with a chipping video when you are just off the putting surface when you are on a green.
Basic Golf Swing Lessons – The Grip – Video Tutorial One
There is always a lot written about the golf grip on the internet sometimes good and sometimes bad, the purpose of this video is to drill down into all of the techniques advised about the golf grip and figure out the best one for you.
The golf grip can really be broken down into three grips most commonly used by today’s golfer, that being the overlapping grip, the interlocking grip and the baseball grip, some will argue there are others but for the purpose of this video is to keep it simple and work with the three as previously mentioned.
The overlapping grip is the most common amongst the world’s leading professionals on all the world tours from the PGA, European and fringe tours around the globe, however in the amateur golfing ranks the interlocking would be the most favoured because it makes it feel like you have a tighter firmer hold on the club, that is my personal opinion, but having played with far more amateur golfers in my playing career the interlocking grip seems and appears to be the most popular.
Drawing and Fading – Golf Tips for Senior’s – Video Tutorial Two
The key with this video is always to try and keep your golf club aimed at the target, all you need to do is close your stance for a draw and keep it open for a fade. What I try and highlight is really when playing these shots off of the tee, using the left side of the tee for a draw and the right side of the tee for a fade. Either way, if you can adopt both of the golfing shots you will certainly be able to trim off a few extra shots off of your handicap, whether you are faced with a dogleg right or left you will have the shot in your bag.
How to Play a Bunker Shot out of Fluffy Sand – Video Tutorial Three
Pretty straight forward golf instruction video playing out of fluffy sand in a bunker, of course, you would play it differently when playing out of a different grade of sand that could be compact, wet or even not raked. But the purpose of this video is to use the heel of the sand iron to slide and bounce through the sand and the motion of the exploding sand pushing the ball upwards and out of the bunker. I have also included a slow motion segment of the video from behind, which shows the steep angle of the swing and exploding the ball upwards without touching the ball.
How to Swing a Golf Club – Swing and Grip Training Aid – Video Tutorial Four
Recently I came across a fantastic cheap golf grip and swing training aid, pretty short video but it highlights the grip and how the moulded grip helps you to master the correct grip, by using it prior to practicing at the driving range or a round of golf is a handy piece of equipment to have on hand. With the weighted end which can be lightened or increased, this will assist you in warming up prior to playing too. If you want to know more about this training aid you can find out more – CLICK HERE.
Golf Swing Basics – Chipping Golf Tips – Video Tutorial Five
Over the years I have always worked on my short game especially around the green, if you can master this drill you will certainly shave some shots off of your round. Having this technique in your locker will surely give you a lot of confidence during your next round of golf, so well worth watching. The only thing you need to remember is to keep your arms locked and use them like a pendulum as with a putting stroke. It is all about getting the ball into the air and getting the ball to roll out like you would a putt.
